::This is the best located gym in downtown Sarajevo. It tends to attract friendly patrons. But these are about the only good things you could say. 1) The receptionists are RUDE, deeply lacking in social grace, same to change every couple of months, and barely speak English. I get the feeling that management is hiring their cousins or something for this role. The most recent on they have hired this month, Ivana, is one of the rudest and least helpful employees I’ve ever seen behind the desk of a “full service” gym. Ivana interrupted my workout twice - rudely - with random demands that had not been explained or told prior to entering the gym, and then weirdly stared at me while I was in the middle of the set and still too out of breath to reply. Nodding is not a language that this employee seems emotionally intelligent enough to understand. The employee in question is again also humorless. Any little village in the Balkans would give you 20x better customer service than this. 2) You will pay about double for a day pass here vs what you would pay in 99% of Sarajevo. Today I was charged 13KM. That might be fine if the value was there. So what do you get for that money (other than location, which I agree is great)? 3) You sure as heck don’t get a great gym for training with free weights. It’s cramped next to the area where they hold group classes, the weights require you to constantly screw them on and off, they have equipment for squats and deadlifts and that’s about t aside from machines, there is only one such set of barbells, and did I mention that it is incredibly cramped and you will be fighting over space constantly? There are much better gyms in Sarajevo than this. Depending on your needs, I recommend checking out Progym (24hr gym with extensive weight lifting and cardio equipment facilities and a great separate juice and protein shake bar area) or Alta (probably the nicest gym in or near central Sarajevo, though not as good as Progym for free weights or “real” weight lifting)
