  I liked this one, mostar is full of mosks and minarets, and there is the "bigger " and more busy one, but for me this one feels more authentic. Entrt prices are reasonable and fair.

  It is the main mosque of Herzegovina. From the inside, you will see amazing ornaments of ottoman architecture. The tower, that is called ''munara'' provides magnificient view. From it, you see the whole city. The mosque was built in 1567., by Mehmed-karađoz, as ''vakuf'', which means endowment. In Islam, a man receives award after death in three cases: if he has created something useful for the mankind, if he has a child that prays for him, and if he leaves the endowment. He has also put in the endowment ''medresa''(middle school) and a library.

  Must see atraction! Great view from the tower/minerat. Highly recommended
