  Huge catholic church. Worth a visit. Especially for the bell tower.

  In Mostar, the Ottomans helped build a Catholic church in the 1866. The church was damaged during the war in 1992, and in 2000, at the same place a new church of larger dimensions was built. This complex boasts a library with 50,000 ancient scriptures, western and eastern, and largest, of such characteristics, throughout Herzegovina. In the monastery there is also an important collection of paintings by Italian masters of the XVI and XVII century, not to emphasize the exhibits from more recent times.
